Services
Speech Therapy
Our pediatric speech
therapists diagnose and treat children with a broad spectrum of disorders. We maximize opportunities to facilitate
natural speech and language using developmentally appropriate toys and equipment.
We encourage peer interaction to enhance age-appropriate language and social
skills. Speech is not only what a child says, but how they play and gesture,
what language they understand and what information they can convey.
Occupational Therapy
Our pediatric occupational
therapists work to promote independence for a child’s “occupation,” including
play, self-care, and school-related skills. Occupational Therapy addresses
difficulties that children have with fine motor skills, dressing, hygiene,
handwriting, behavior, and sensory processing.
Physical Therapy
Our pediatric physical
therapists work with babies from birth.
We treat infants with torticollis, developmental delay, prematurity,
brachial plexus injury, genetic disorders and cerebral palsy. We also train parents in infant massage to
help babies who suffer from colic more comfortable. Physical therapy focuses on improving overall
strength, balance, coordination and mobility so children can successfully play
with their peers. Gross motor skills such as rolling, sitting, crawling,
standing, walking, running, jumping, climbing, skipping, bike riding and ball
skills are the foundation of gross motor development.
