Director of Occupational Therapy
Lauren is the Director of Occupational Therapy. She holds a BS in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University. Lauren helped start Abilities in Action and grow its occupational therapy department. Lauren completed the USC/WPS Sensory Integration Certification program, a comprehensive advanced training in sensory integration theory, assessment, interpretation and intervention. She is currently on the research team for the newest sensory integration test, the EASI (Evaluation of Ayres Sensory Integration). Lauren has also received specialized training in the areas of NDT, feeding, vision assessment and treatment, kinesiotaping, and Integrated Listening Systems. Lauren enjoys sharing her knowledge through mentorship and teaching. She maintains an active membership in the American Occupational Therapy Association.
