Physical Therapy — Speech Therapy — Occupational Therapy — Feeding Therapy For Infants & Children

Physical Therapy

Our Pediatric Physical Therapy program is designed to help children improve mobility, strength, and overall physical development. We provide specialized therapy for children with Cerebral Palsy, Torticollis, and Plagiocephaly to support posture and movement. Our therapists address Gross Motor Delays, offering targeted Balance & Coordination Therapy and Pediatric Gait Training to enhance walking skills. We also provide therapy for Toe Walking, Flat Feet, and Knock Knees or Bowlegs to promote proper alignment and function. For children recovering from surgery, our Post-Orthopedic Surgery Rehabilitation focuses on safe and effective recovery. Additionally, we offer treatment for Pediatric Neuromuscular Disorders, along with Strength and Endurance Therapy, to help kids build the physical skills they need for daily activities and play.

Pediatric physical therapy promotes independence, increases participation, supports motor development and functional movement, improves strength and endurance, enhances learning opportunities, and eases the physical demands of daily caregiving.

Our pediatric physical therapists work with children from infancy through adolescence and partner closely with families to help each child reach their maximum potential for independent movement and active participation in home, school, and community environments. At Abilities in Action, our therapists use evidence-based practice by integrating current research with clinical expertise and thoughtful clinical reasoning to evaluate and treat each child.

We provide care for children from birth through adolescence with a wide range of diagnoses and movement challenges, including torticollis, developmental delay, gross motor delay, cerebral palsy, brachial plexus injury, and orthopedic concerns. Through play-based, developmentally appropriate therapy, we help children build strength, balance, flexibility, coordination, and essential motor skills that support confident movement and participation in everyday activities.
